Download the Nectir app on your phone and enter the server name for your school (such as "ucsb.nectir.io") in order to use Nectir wherever you are. You can also get notifications for the channels you are in.
NOTIFICATIONS: Check out the Notifications section of our user guide to learn how to adjust your settings. Each channel's notifications can be customized to your preferences. You can also do this directly in the app by clicking on the name of the channel at the top of the screen (once you're in the channel itself). Then go to "Notifications" and set your preferences for that channel.
Instructions on downloading the Nectir app:
Go to the App Store or Google Play
Search and Download "Nectir". It will appear with our yellow "N" logo.
Type in your school's workspace URL such as "ucsb.nectir.io" or "https://ucsb.nectir.io"
Log in with your login information from when you made your account.
Done! You should be able to see all the channels you're in, receive notifications, and connect with your class on the go. (Note: Your desktop/mobile notifications are separate, so remember to adjust settings on both)
