Clearing your cache

Learn how to clear your cache in various internet web browsers to ensure Nectir functions smoothly.

For Chrome (Only one site)

  • Click the Lock Icon in the URL bar

  • Choose "Site Settings"

  • Click "Clear Data"

  • Reload Page & Relog In

For Chrome (All Sites):

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  2. At the top right, click More Delete browsing data.

  3. Choose a time range, like Last hour or All time.

  4. Select the types of information you want to remove.

  5. Click Delete data.

    • If you delete cookies while signed in to Chrome, you won't be signed out of your Google Account.

For Firefox:

  1. Open Firefox.

  2. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and then select Preferences or Settings, depending on your macOS version.

  3. Select the Privacy & Security panel.

  4. In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data…

    • The Clear browsing data and cookies dialog will open.

  5. On the dropdown next to When:, choose Everything.

    1. Make sure that only Temporary cached files and pages are checkmarked.

    2. For more information about managing site data, see Manage local site storage settings.

  6. Click the Clear button.

  7. Close the Settings page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.

For Safari:

  1. Open Safari.

  2. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click "Safari."

  3. Select "Clear History."

  1. Open Mircosoft Edge.

  2. Go to Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data.

  3. Select Ctrl+Shift+Del.

    1. You can also type "edge://settings/clearbrowserdata" in your address bar to access this function.
