Nectir has the capability for various integrations to make your teaching + learning experience even better. Most integrations can be found by entering the forward-slash "/" in the chatbox of your channel. A drop-down list will appear that will allow you to select the command you want.

Some integrations must be set up by your community's administrator. If you would like to use these integrations, please reach out to @VickyNectir on your workspace for help on how to set them up.

  1. Dropbox Paper: Dropbox Paper integration for Nectir with commands for creating, searching and sharing papers. Try "/dropbox" to use it.

  2. Google Calendar: Nectir allows you to integrate your Google Calendar directly into your channel, so that reminder messages get sent automatically. To use this integration, contact us at [email protected].

  3. Content Filter: A simple filter to prevent messages with undesirable content such as spam and phishing URLs from being sent. Supports RegEx.

  4. GIPHY: Search for GIFs directly inside Nectir (Powered by GIPHY.com). Use "/giphy" to search for your GIF.

  5. Math: Integrates Math.js into Nectir with a simple "/math" slash command. It features a flexible expression parser with support for symbolic computation, comes with a large set of built-in functions and constants, and offers an integrated solution to work with different data types like numbers, big numbers, complex numbers, fractions, units, and matrices.

  6. Poll: A simple app to create polls on Nectir that can be answered through emoji reactions. Use the following slash command in your message box: /poll "Question?" "Option 1" "Option 2" "Option 3".

  7. Search: Search Amazon, Twitter, DuckDuckGo, Urban Dictionary, and more. For example, type "/amazon" and a term you want to search to begin.

  8. Appear. In: appear.in provides a simple one-click video conference solution right in your browser. This integration lets you and others use the "/appear" slash command to start a video conference, making it super easy for others to join the call.
