Did you know your workspace has a directory of all of the public channels available to join at your school? Anytime someone creates a public channel, it's automatically added to the directory.

To see your directory, click on the "discover" icon in the left sidebar of your workspace. It should look like a magnifying glass.

Here you can scroll through and view all public channels.

Click on the channel to view messages. You will not be able to send a message in the channel until you join.

Join a channel by clicking the blue "join" button either on the right of the list of public channels or at the bottom right next to the message box of a channel.
