Public vs Private Channels
Public channels can be found on the directory and added by anyone.
Private channels are not listed on the directory and may only be joined through a specific invite link or added manually by the owner of the channel.
How to Change your Channel's Visibility
Go to the channel you would like to make this change with.
Select the "info" icon in the top right corner of your channel.
Now select the "Edit" button.
Scroll down below the description, where you will find the public/private toggle.
Click on the toggle to switch the channel type to the one you want.
Select "Save" at the bottom and you're done!
NOTE: If you change your channel from public to private at any time and have a Nectir integration with your LMS, you must re-embed the new link within your LMS
